Litter 1 & Litter 2 by JayKay Northern Confidence, Macc, & Ha'Aretz Riddle Rap, Remmie. 

This is the litter sired by Macc and whelped by Remmie, born April 3, 2010, our *Easter-Western* litter. In January, 2010, Remmie flew to Calgary, Alberta, with the purpose of mating to Macc. If this litter materialized as we expected, then we would repeat the breeding on Remmie's next heat. It did and we did.  Remmie is co-owned by Michelle and me, and her puppies carry the Sufat Sheleg prefix.  We couldn't ask for more.  Sunny, Shiloh and Sara fulfil every expectation, and two of them will remain intact.  We are delighted with the way they are turning out. Their stories and photos are on the Sufatsheleg Website.  With the breeding of Macc and Remmie we plan to continue Canaan dog type and temperament from B'Nei Habitachon through Spatterdash to Ha'Aretz and Sufat Sheleg.  Canaan dog versatility is accentuated in the performance and conformation areas through sire and dam.  Litter 2 is brewing now, and is due next month.  Macc is a working Canaan dog, and Remmie is the epitome of breed type. For more information on Litter 2 please contact Michelle at the e-mail address above or call at 403.636.3028 at additional expense. 

Last month, Val & I drove to Masachusetts to visit Ha'Aretz Barbara (CH Ha'Aretz Pei Mishacam ex CHF Eagle in Flight, Mariah) who has produced one litter by Noah (Ha'Aretz Rashe Noah (CH Mishacam ex CH Hadar Ha'Aretz Happy Paws).  This litter produced Ha'Aretz Tyrus, Ruslan, Kashtin and Juliet, who lives at her birthplace with the Novikov's.  Barbara is now awaiting her first litter by Val.

Val, the sire, is a robust male, full of himself and the joy of life.  His puppies out of Remmie show his positive attitude, mild temperament, and positive attitude toward life. His pedigree brings outcrosses and variations into the breeding program.  He is a handsome dog, and has won championship points in the show ring.  He's a good Canaan dog, and better than the sum of his parts. 

Barbara reflects the epitome of type with her intelligence, character, way of moving, ability to learn and show and receive affection. She is elegant and playful and still sensible, although she once put her nose too close to a porcupine and paid the price for her boldness and curiosity.  She is a good mother and raised four beautiful puppies.  Now she is awaiting her second  litter, this time by Val.  We expect the puppies to grow into good family companions, natural watchdogs, and participants in the world of dogs show events.
